Find a policy or propose a new version

For: Readers, assigned policy recipients and authorized authors.

Find the applicable document

Open Knowledge and choose a type, such as Policies, SOPs or Specifications. Use Search the registry to narrow the results.
Open a title and inspect Purpose, Versions and What this governs. Follow the source link for the exact version. If an acknowledgment is assigned to you, read that version before acknowledging.

What to expect. The document record identifies which source and version apply.

Select New policy or procedure for a new source, or Propose a new version from an existing document.
Enter the owner, version, reason for the change, exact source link and governing requirements. Select Save draft and follow the review steps shown.

What to expect. Drafts appear under Drafts in progress. Check the version’s publication state before treating it as effective.
